The maple pillar is tailored with a 1/8th inch inlay of mahogany. The bench is a companion piece to a bronze and cast glass light sculpture gracing the entrance to this modern beach home. Modern gate

Modern gate Series: Architectural elements Medium: Stainless Steel Dimensions: 18' x 6' x 2.5" Date: 2010 Commission: Private residence Location: Ojai, CA Aluminum and stainless steel gate, pillars and lighting with illuminated cast glass elements. Fabricated in seamless aluminum with stainless steel hardware and wall sconces, low-voltage LED lighting. The custom roller system keeps the gate running smooth and upright. The over-sized top rail guides the gate while protecting the finish from the rollers. The side pillars are aluminum and the wall sconces are polished stainless steel.
