I finished installation of the Santa Barbara State Street Tiny Libraries project today! Feedback so far has been amazing - everyone loves the bright, playful sculptures and of course the free books. Media coverage has been favorable as well, with full page features in local papers, TV coverage and two NPR interviews. I will be posting images as soon as I get time. Yesterday we installed "Fun for All" in Ojai's Libbey Park Playground. I will be posting a lot more photos and info - here are a few teaser images..
Ojai is about to get several new additions to the Libbey Park Playground. This week I will be installing a giant 5 ton, 20 foot long lizard, a huge Ladybug and fun archway. Be sure check back here in mid October. I will be posting a detailed blog of the entire build process including photos of the completed art, an image gallery of the installation (it's not everyday you see a 5 ton lizard flying through the air) and details of the many components with explanations of the engineering and work that was required for this project.

I'd like to thank Donna Granata and the staff and crew at Focus On The Masters for selecting me as one of their 2015 Featured Artists. I'm honored and humbled to be included in the FOTM Archive and to have so many people interested in my work. I found the documentation process, though time consuming, very insightful. It uncovered and illuminated trends and threads in my life and career that I had not noticed, and for that bit of insight I am extremely grateful.
