American Glass Works was an exhibit in January of 2012 at the Ojai Valley Museum celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Studio Glass Art movement in America. This video is from a feature story on the exhibit by the Ventura County Star Newspaper.

I was honored to be included in the exhibit along with seven other Ventura County glass artists.

I created “Geo” specifically for this exhibit to illustrate my current style and relationship with glass. Geo combines cast glass “bubble” bars with hand forged stainless steel, copper, a lovely patina and (invisible) low voltage LED illumination.

Several of my earlier glass works were selected for the exhibit including Fractured, Azurite and two cast glass light sculptures.
